Description
Orthia Comfort Pillow Medium allows the anatomical correction of the cervical spine, leading to a relaxation of the neck muscles. In Orthia comfort pillow, latex type, are inserted three small clay discs (material with excellent anti-inflammatory properties and moisture absorption) into the foam. It is composed externally with cotton cover which is removable and washable up to 30C and inside with softfeel polyurethane foam or viscoelastic polyurethane foam. The pillow is designed to support the natural contours of head and neck area ensuring a blissful sleep day after day. Pillows provide support for your neck and upper back which is the most important role that the pillow needs to fill when you are asleep. People need this support when they are sleeping because the human spine is naturally curved. Having support for your head and neck helps to maintain the proper alignment of these areas of the spine.
BENEFITS
- Helps to reduce the neck stiffness and cervical pressure
- Supports in the relief of degenerative diskarthrosis disease (thus avoiding the progressive narrowing of intervertebral space and forcing its decompression)
- Prevents the bedsores in bedridden patients or those who stay in bed for long periods of time
- Minimizes snoring
HOW TO USE
- A good rule of thumb is that your pillow should always keep your neck parallel to your mattress, no matter what position you're in
- Your neck shouldn't be bent forward or to one side
- When lying on the back, a pillow should support the natural curvature of the cervical spine, with adequate support under the head, neck, and shoulders
- When sleeping on the back, the height of the pillow should be lower than in the sideways position
